About Apolonia Sokol:

Apolonia Sokol (b. 1988) is a portrait painter and lives in Paris, and she has lived in Denmark for a number of years. Apolonia is currently on display at Arken.

Sokol graduated in 2015 from the École Nationale Supérieue des Beaux-Arts in Paris, which is France's most respected art academy. Today, she herself is a professor at the art academy in Normandy. Many in Denmark will know Sokol from the award-winning documentary Apolonia, Apolonia directed by Lea Glob.
